Hotmail Hacked

Yes, earlier this afternoon (GMT+8), there were sources saying that Hotmail was hacked and thousands of Hotmail passwords were leaked on the Internet. The accounts that are affected includes @hotmail.com, @msn.com and @live.com addresses. The following article is courtesy of neowin.net:
Neowin has received information regarding a possible Windows Live Hotmail “hack” or phishing scheme where password details of thousands of Hotmail accounts have been posted online.
An anonymous user posted details of the accounts on October 1 at pastebin.com, a site commonly used by developers to share code snippets. The details have since been removed but Neowin has seen part of the list posted and can confirm the accounts are genuine and most appear to be based in Europe. The list details over 10,000 accounts starting from A through to B, suggesting there could be additional lists. Currently it appears only accounts used to access Microsoft’s Windows Live Hotmail have been posted, this includes @hotmail.com, @msn.com and @live.com accounts.
Neowin has reported this immediately to Microsoft’s Security Response Center and to Microsoft’s PR teams in the UK and US and we are currently awaiting feedback on the situation. As this is a breaking story please check back frequently as the story will be updated as soon as more information becomes available.
If you are a Windows Live Hotmail user Neowin recommends that you change your password and security question immediately.
Microsoft then confirmed the reports and they have launched an investigation to this matter. If you’re a Hotmail user, do change your password immediately for security purposes. Protect your information from being leaked on the Internet.
Marié Digby Live in Kuala Lumpur

Well I am quite a big fan of Marié Digby after I first listened to her acoustic cover version of Rihanna’s “Umbrella”. She is just so talented and gifted that she deserves every bit of success she’s having at the moment. Now GAP presents Marié Digby live in Kuala Lumpur, a really good opportunity to catch her live for the fans here in Malaysia.
Don’t know who Marié Digby is ? Marié Digby is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and pianist. She is best known for her acoustic cover version of Rihanna’s number one hit “Umbrella” which was originally posted on YouTube and it was then spread across the Internet. Well I think many have heard of her after her first official single “Say It Again” was aired on radio stations. Her debut album titled Unfold was released on April 8, 2008. Never listened to her songs before ? If you would like to listen to some of her songs then you may listen to it at her official YouTube channel.
Now as stated in the poster she will be in One Utama on the 14th of May 2008 which is a Wednesday at 8pm and the admission is free. The event will be held at the new wing, ground floor, near the GAP outlet. Also, you can get a copy of her album “Unfold” on that day which will be sold there and you stand a chance to get that album autographed by Marié Digby herself. Since it is free, there will be no excuse like “the ticket is too expensive”. This event is brought to you by GAP.
