Not long back, I went to try out a fish head noodle stall at SS20 near Damansara Kim to be more precise. This particular stall was featured in a food guide hotspot book in which you can find in major book stores. Does this stall live up to standards or simple just overrated?

A bowl of Haruan fish head noodle here can easily cost you about RM9.50 and yes to me it ain’t cheap but I must not forget that prices of fish can fluctuate anytime. Putting the price tag aside, the taste of it isn’t anything much to brag about and I consider it as really normal. The food hotspot guide book along with some famous food bloggers mentioned about this place and how good it tasted but seriously I beg to differ here. For the price and the taste, I’d say the fish head noodle in SS2 is so much better and it will only cost you about RM5 for a bowl.

I’m not too sure if the guy who is collecting the money is the owner of this stall but he seriously needs to buck up his knowledge and skills in doing business. When I gave him RM50.10, he thought I only gave him RM50.00 so okay, humans do make mistakes at times. However, when I told him that I actually gave him RM50.10, he said that he didn’t have enough change and he gave me another 50 cents as well as asking me not to give him more money as though like I would cause him to be in an utter confusion. With such attitude, I felt disgusted and I don’t think I’ll ever come back to this stall nor recommend this place to someone else. I rarely give bad comments on a food place but considering the food here isn’t that good and the attitude of that man, this stall isn’t like how the book stated or how others commented on this particular stall.
