Not long back, a search on Google for some places to eat brought me to The Blue Cow Cafe in Plaza Damas at Sri Hartamas. It is all about meat, meat and more meat in The Blue Cow Cafe. I’ve also read some good comments for this cafe so how well will this turn out to be?

While getting to Plaza Damas is relatively easy, instead of turning left to Desa Sri Hartamas at the traffic light if you’re coming from PJ side, turn right and you should be in a housing area and there will be another traffic light there, turn left and go all the way straight until you see a plaza, that’s Plaza Damas. Once you’re inside the covered parking, I would suggest you to park nearer to Block N if you’re not too familiar here or you’ll end up like me taking a while to get there. I came to find out that The Blue Cow Cafe is once called Fogal Meat Market Deli & Cafe. Just look out for The Blue Cow Cafe as I was searching for Fogal and my eyes were blinded by the word Fogal.

Here’s their beef burger with added cheese. If you wish to add cheese, egg and such, you’ll have to pay an additional fee which will be about a couple of bucks more. Their burger comes in a set which consists of 2 sidelines of your choice and the burger. Their meat is stuffed with ingredients but if you ask me, it doesn’t pull away from fast food restaurants like Carl’s Jr.

Similar to the beef burger, this is their lamb burger. Presentation wise is even simpler than the beef burger due to the sidelines not being catchy enough. There were no add-ons for this one and taste wise is similar to the beef burger even if cheese was added. Quick summary, their burgers all tastes the same and only the meat became the difference.
The final conclusion, there’s nothing much to shout about on their burgers here. You can get a bigger burger at restaurants like Chili’s and Tony Roma’s. I can’t recall the price for one set of burger but the price for both was RM38.30 before service charge and the beef burger is the more expensive one due to the cheese add-on. The Blue Cow Cafe is still worth a try if you’re tired of consuming burgers from fast food chains. They do have other choices in their menu as well such as a meat platter. Maybe the meat platter here will be satisfying?
