Putrajaya, home to most of the government office in Malaysia. Besides being a governing area, Putrajaya is also one of the hotspots for photographers to be at due to the great architecture of the buildings. I recently went to Putrajaya on a late night and there really was nothing much to see nor anything to be photographed. What there was is only the brightly lit bridge and that’s the best thing to see on a late night.

I was able to witness the lights on the bridge for the first time with my own eyes. There would be quite a number of people stopping by the road side either just to hang out or to take photographs. However, it is always advisable to be taking photographs earlier say around 8p.m. when there is more crowd around.

It has been a while since I’ve had claypot chicken rice for a meal and I came across this restaurant that has a claypot chicken rice stall from a food guide book and since this stall is able to be featured inside that book, it should be worth giving a try.

Restaurant Chun Heong is located in Lucky Garden, Bangsar to be exact. It was said that this stall selling claypot chicken rice is the only one around Bangsar area. I’m not too sure if there’s any other stalls or restaurants that sells claypot chicken rice though as this book was published last year if I’m not mistaken and there could be other stalls or restaurants around that sells it now.

From the book, one pot is enough for two small eaters and well it is true but if you are really hungry then I suggest you to have a pot on your own. Taste wise is good but nothing extraordinary and the book’s comment on this stall is as though that this claypot chicken rice stall is among the best which I myself don’t think it is that great compared to others. Also, I was actually tempted with the price stated in the book at RM4.50 for a pot but it has raised to RM8.00 per pot now. Besides just claypot chicken rice, this stall does sell steamed soup as well at RM3.00 per small bowl.
So much for the hype getting there after knowing about this stall from the food guide book, I think that this stall isn’t any greater than others but still it is decent enough and if you’re looking for something new or somewhere new then give this a try.

Are you a big time fan of shrimps and your mouth will always salivate when you see some big and fresh shrimps? If yes is your answer, this restaurant should cater your desires for shrimps and they’ve been around here in Malaysia for quite some time now.

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co is famous for their specialty in food involving the use of shrimps. Basically, everything you find in their menu has got something to do with shrimps, even their company logo tells you all. I’ve recently got the chance to try this restaurant in their Sunway Pyramid branch.

The inside of this restaurant’s look and feel is based on the ever popular story of Forrest Gump. You’ll see photos of the movie and such hanging on the walls within this restaurant. There is even one section in this restaurant that gives a similar look and feel of Forrest’s house. By the way, the sign ‘Run Forrest Run’ indicates that everything is fine at your table and should you need the waiter’s assistance, flip the sign over and you’ll see another sign that states ‘Stop Forrest Stop’ and should the waiter sees it, he or she will be at your service.

Moving on to their food, I tried their Shrimper’s Heaven that consists of four different types of shrimps made in different ways as well. The side dish that comes with it are the fries and coleslaw. The shrimps were big and the taste of it based on my experience here on this particular day was good but somehow the sauce that was provided tasted somewhat weird. Well, it could be that I do not know how to appreciate it but to me, I’ll have to say that I dislike the sauce because even the ketchup doesn’t taste like ketchup at all. This Shrimper’s Heaven is priced at RM44.90.
As a conclusion for this restaurant, food quality wise is good but there are sure more room for improvements. The pricing here though isn’t your every single day affordable food but you can say that you should pamper yourself with some good food once in a while. Price ranges from about an average of RM25.00 to RM60.00 for their main course. I would say that this restaurant does offer something different considering that it specializes in shrimps and the price would be similar if you go to restaurants like Chillis or TGIF and it is definitely worth the try.

As I’ve recently visited Melaka, I took the opportunity to play with my camera trying to study it. I won’t talk much in this post but rather I will post up two photos from there. Personally I think my photos turned out to be pretty bad due to bad lighting conditions which I wasn’t able to control it and only this two photos can be shown up among the rest.

Any feedback on this would be much appreciated.
