Lack of updates in my blog clearly shows that I’m pretty busy these days and I have then neglected this blog. I’m sure most of you have heard of the famous and mighty Eye on Malaysia which is a pretty huge ferris wheel that was first constructed in Kuala Lumpur. It was then brought to Malacca which I think was stupid as they were telling people that it is only a one year thing but at last it is still in Malaysia. I’ve never had the chance to experience this until recently.

One thing for sure is that the walkway is really nice and people from Malacca really love the dark and quiet atmosphere here which is probably one of the reasons why there are a lot of people choosing here as a dating place. I really enjoyed the view of it from far as the lights were so bright that basically any camera snapping this would turn out to be nice.

The structure of this gigantic ferris wheel is quite cool upclose. This is certainly one hot spot for photographers within Malacca. I personally prefer it to be in Kuala Lumpur at the Titiwangsa Lake where there are better views of it especially for photographers like the reflection from the lake which makes it look much better as though an effect is added to it.

The price for it is also ridiculous and to me it is overpriced and not worth the money at all. Normal price would RM20 for an adult but there is a promotion now whereby MyKad holders only need to pay RM10. You will be entitled to about 4-5 rounds and that’s it. However, there’s nothing at all to see in Malacca during the night and sitting this ferris wheel is a total boredom. The main conclusion is that the Eye on Malaysia in Malacca is nice to see but not to sit.

Yes this is the one that migrated over to Malacca from Kuala Lumpur.

This won’t be a one year thing but a permanent one. It will be in Malacca forever and ever.
RM10 is not a promotion but rather the ticket price.
You will be up there for 12 minutes, about 7 rounds, if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the information! Well, 7 rounds to me is really boring especially when there’s nothing to see. Perhaps the first two rounds was quite exciting but after that it tends to get boring in there.
