So yesterday I received a mail and since the envelope was just plain white, I had no idea who sent it to me.

Usually when it is plain white it would be something confidential and I opened it without any time wasted.

So it was from Nuffnang and I totally forgot about it, I requested for them to send the check to me at the end of December.

Anyway, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Nuffnang!

Sushi Zanmai is no stranger to most people by now. You can expect long queues during peak hours such as lunch and dinner time. Well, there is no wrong in sharing my experience with Sushi Zanmai in 1 Utama shopping mall.

If you can’t find Sushi Zanmai in 1 Utama, it is just outside of Dragon-I so you shouldn’t have any problems finding it else just look for it in the directory board. Normally there would be a long queue during lunch and dinner hours so you might want to go slightly earlier.

So green tea for a Japanese meal is very much recommended as for some reason it does quench thirst and best of all you can refill it.

I guess salmon is what most people crave for when they go to a restaurant that serves Japanese food. The salmon sushi served in Sushi Zanmai can be said to be one of the best if you talk about Japanese restaurants in shopping malls. However, sometimes they just can’t maintain the quality of it, probably it has something to do with the salmon.

Those who want something that wets the mouth may try the Sukiyaki which I think is good especially when there are a lot of ingredients in it such as vegetables and tofu.

The beef should be nice depending on how raw you want it to be, make it bloody and just taste the sweetness in the blood together with the soup. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Looking for a famous Wan Tan Mee around Kuala Lumpur ? I think many have heard of this restaurant before and it is no stranger when people mention the name of this restaurant for Wan Tan Mee.

You will be able to find this restaurant in Petaling Street. It is along the street where Kiew Brothers are located at. Just look carefully and you won’t be able to miss out on this. This restaurant is small so you will have to share tables with others if it is packed which usually will.

Dry Wan Tan Mee
Like I mentioned earlier on, this restaurant is famous with their Wan Tan Mee and only serves Wan Tan Mee. It is just not your ordinary Wan Tan Mee you find in coffee shops. The noodles have a different texture and it is tasty.

Sui Kow
What’s Wan Tan Mee without Sui Kow ? Somehow the ones they serve here is really different. Tasty and chewing it is just a pleasure. I usually don’t like to eat Sui Kow elsewhere as most can’t make tasty ones.

Conclusion for the Wan Tan Mee here is good and you too will like it as you won’t be able to find it anywhere else except here. Restaurant Koon Kee does have several branches if I’m not wrong but the best and original one is still here in Petaling Street.

By the way, you might not want to order any drinks from the restaurant and just walk down a little more to have the Air Mata Kucing.

It is a blink of an eye and Chinese New Year is coming to an end. There are decorations in many shopping complexes but one that is lighted up brightly is in Sunway Pyramid.

This decoration can be found in the old wing near the main entrance which has a Starbucks over there. The decoration may be simple but yet the lights were good and it is an eye candy.

Looking for a place to have noodles especially a local favourite ‘Pan Mee’ ? I’ve tried a restaurant in Damansara Utama Uptown area that I think I should introduce to you if you have not heard of it before.

Face to Face Noodles House specializes in ‘Pan Mee’ so you would be seeing customers in this restaurant having it most of the time. This restaurant is situated along the same row as Astro and it is the row behind Public Bank.

On each table you would find four different types of chili to spice your noodles if yours isn’t spicy or you would like to spice it up even more. Some people prefer to mix it as well.

Dry ‘Pan Mee’

Soup ‘Pan Mee’

‘Kon Lou’ Mee
My verdict on the noodles here will be just nice. Although this restaurant is pretty famous for their ‘Pan Mee’ but for me it doesn’t really have anything special and tastes like most other ‘Pan Mee’ you can get in Chinese restaurants and stalls. It was a bit of a disappointment as I was hoping for something really good and special but it wasn’t. However, this restaurant is still a decent place to have ‘Pan Mee’ if you have not tried it at this place.
